Engagement models

Most engagements start in one model and shift into another as the work clarifies. Pricing and terms are tuned to the model—nothing is locked behind a fixed package.

    A dedicated engineer joins your stack, rituals, and roadmap—standups, PRs, on-call where needed. Best for sustained AI/ML or full-stack workstreams over a quarter or longer.

Four phases, designed to be short. Most teams move from first email to engineers in your repo in three to five weeks—dictated mostly by your interview pace.

    We align on outcomes, constraints, stack, compliance, and team interfaces—so the engagement targets the work that actually moves the roadmap.

    Match & validate

    You meet senior engineers with relevant production experience. Depth is verified against your real scenarios—not trivia—so interviews are short and signal-rich.

  3. 03

    Embed & deliver

    Engineers integrate with your rituals: standups, PRs, on-call where needed. We optimise for ownership, communication, and steady shipping velocity.

  4. 04

    Scale or adjust

    Extend engagements, add complementary profiles (e.g. MLOps + backend), tighten scope, or close cleanly. We meet the roadmap where it actually goes.

How we vet talent

Vetting calibrated to the work, not to the résumé.

Every senior we send through is screened against the same four checks. We optimise for signal—what someone actually shipped at scale—over credentials and tenure.

    Production AI/ML or full-stack systems with measurable impact—what shipped, what scale, what trade-offs. We verify, not just read résumés.

  • Real-world technical screen

    Problems modelled on actual client domains—RAG pipelines, model evaluation, latency tuning, system design. No LeetCode theatre.

  • Architecture conversation

    A calibrated system-design discussion: trade-offs, failure modes, observability, evaluation. Calibrated to the seniority required by your roadmap.

  • References

    Direct references from senior engineers and engineering managers who shipped alongside the candidate—not just former HR contacts.

Trust & operations

Compliance, security, and reporting handled the way you would handle them in-house—not retro-fitted after a procurement question.

  • Mutual NDA & DPA

    Mutual NDAs are standard before any candidate-specific or roadmap detail is shared. GDPR-aligned DPAs where personal data is involved.

  • Clean IP & code ownership

    Clients own all work product produced under the engagement. IP, security, and compliance arrangements are detailed in the MSA or SOW.

  • Secure development practice

    Engineers operate under your security policies. SOC 2-aligned controls (access, key management, code review) available on request.

  • Transparent reporting

    Weekly progress notes, accurate timesheets, and a monthly outcomes review with engineering and executive sponsors. No black boxes.

What we won't do

The boundaries that make the rest credible.

A staffing partner that says yes to everything is a staffing partner you cannot trust on the things that matter. Here is where we draw the line.

  • Match unvetted profiles to hit a deadline

    If we cannot stand behind a candidate, we say so. Hiring under deadline pressure is how teams end up replacing senior hires six weeks later.

  • Sign multi-year lock-ins or minimum hours

    Engagements run as long as they create value. We trade flexibility for accountability—not the other way around.

  • Take engagements where we are not the right fit

    If your problem is better served by a Big-4 consultancy, an in-house hire, or a different specialist, we will say so on the discovery call.

  • Hide engineers behind account managers

    You work directly with senior engineers. Coordination is light, with a single point of contact for commercial and operational matters.
